Who is responsible
Gravle is run by Víctor Miguel Álvarez Camarero, based in Spain. For anything about your data, email vmalvarezcamarero@gmail.com.
What data we process
- If you play without an account: a random identifier for your device, stored in your browser, and your scores. We use them to count your daily attempts. We don’t know who you are.
- If you create an account: your email address (or the basic details of your Google account if you sign in with Google), the player name you choose, your country and your scores.
We don’t ask for or store your real name, your precise location or any payment details.
What we use it for
- Letting you play and limiting play to two attempts a day.
- Showing the public leaderboards, which display your player name, your country and your score. Your email is never shown.
- Keeping you signed in and, if you ask, helping you reset your password.
The legal basis is providing the service you request when you create an account (GDPR art. 6.1.b) and your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by deleting your account.
Minimum age
You must be 16 or older to create an account. If you are younger, you can still play without one.
Who we share it with
We use these providers, which process data only to deliver their service to us:
- Cloudflare: hosts the website and the score database.
- Google Firebase: handles sign-in (email and password, or Google account).
These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards set out in the GDPR (standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework). We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. If you delete it, we immediately erase your profile and scores. Games played without an account are kept for 12 months at most.
Cookies and storage
We only use technical browser storage that the game needs to work: your device identifier, your streak and your session. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add them in the future, we’ll ask for your permission first.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data. In the game you can change your name and country and delete your account (your profile button → “Delete my account”). For any other right (access, portability, objection or restriction), email vmalvarezcamarero@gmail.com. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or the authority in your country.
